HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
December 31, 2012
Another place for my ramblings
#Panthers 21 field goal attempts set a team record for fewest attempts in a season. 25 was previous record from '97 and '04.
Other QBs that have led teams in rushing since 1970? Bobby Douglass w/Bears in '72, Randall Cunningham w/Eagles from '87-'90.
Final #Panthers rushing numbers: Cam Newton - 741, DeAngelo Williams - 737. Newton 1st QB to lead team in rushing since McNabb in '00.
Hasn't really gone through a murder's row, but Ron Rivera's December record is 7-2. #Panthers
Unless CGreenway has 20, NBowman has 21 or JMayo has 23 tonight, #Panthers rookie LB LKuechly will finish year as NFL tackle leader w/164.
Have said it before, but THIS would truly be the most Panthersish loss of this season.
Again, Ron Rivera had never led #Panthers to a win when they trailed by double digits. They were down 11 today.
